ANDTEK’s solutions allow easy handling via touchpad
Munich/Hallbergmoos, June 15 – Users of the new generation of Cisco IP phones have now the possibility to access corporate data via their phone very easily. Unified Communications expert ANDTEK GmbH developed adequate intelligent features.
The IP phones can be controlled directly and conveniently via web browser. By means of the ANDTEK solution it is now possible to integrate complete corporate directories and databases into the IP telephony environment of the new Cisco devices.
This offers for example advantages for production staff members who do not have a computer at their disposal and who urgently need detailed information. Marketing employees can search in the corporate directory or can access call lists while talking with somebody on the phone without needing a computer. Thanks to the predictive search feature names or search terms can be found within seconds by entering one or two characters and the requested contact will be shown on the display.
One more advantage concerning the display: The handling of the applications being integrated in the new IP phones is very simple, operation is done via touchpad.
With the ANDTEK solution users can access a large variety of corporate information at any time. The unified communications solution integrates existing databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.), LDAP directories, active directories and csv files from the corporate network into the telephony network without any problems. For this the “AND Phone Application Server” has access to the databases via the corporate network and displays the databases on the telephony network.
